The starosty of Piaseczno was granted to Adam Mikołaj Sieniawski, Castellan of Kraków, and his wife, Elżbieta née Lubomirska, the owner of the nearby estates of Siekierki and Wilanów, one of the most influential women of the Commonwealth during the reign of Augustus II, known by her contemporaries as Queen without a crown.
